Federico Staksrud and adidas have officially ended their partnership in a mutual decision by the two parties, according to their statements.

Staksrud had signed with the sports equipment and apparel brand back in January, which was a major development given his status as the No. 1 player in men's doubles and men's singles at the time.

"After careful consideration, Adidas and I have decided to mutually conclude our partnership," Staksrud said in a statement Monday on Instagram. "The team put in incredible effort, working with me to create paddles designed for my game. I'm grateful for their professionalism, dedication and trust. Thank you to everyone at Adidas -- I look forward to seeing how they continue to grow the sport."

Staksrud had continued to play with a JOOLA paddle for the majority of his tournaments this season, including last week at the PPA Tour Orange County Cup. He also was back to wearing JOOLA apparel at the tournament in San Clemente, California.

"We have mutually agreed to end our partnership," adidas said in their statement on Monday. "We thank him for being part of the adidas family and wish him all the best for the future."

Adidas still has two other pros on its roster of players -- Rafa Hewett and Mari Humberg.

Humberg is coming off of a big week in San Clemente, making the semifinals in mixed doubles with CJ Klinger and women's doubles with Meghan Dizon. Humberg also was recently traded from MLP Challenger Level to the Premier Level and will play for the New Jersey 5s for the remainder of the 2025 season.
