Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 8, 2026
The Kitchen Pickleball (“The Kitchen,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit thekitchenpickle.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you subscribe to our newsletter, fill out a contact form, leave a comment, or otherwise interact with the Site, we collect the information you provide (typically your email address and, where applicable, your name or message).
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, our servers and analytics tools automatically collect non-personal information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, time spent on pages, and approximate geographic location (city or region level). This information helps us understand how the Site is used and improve it.
Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some Site features may not work as expected if you do.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
- Deliver our newsletter and respond to your messages.
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can make it better.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or technical problems.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third-party services we use
The Site relies on a small number of third-party services that process data on our behalf or independently when you interact with the Site:
- Google Analytics 4 for traffic and engagement measurement. Google may set cookies and collect anonymized usage data. You can opt out at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Beehiiv for our email newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is stored with Beehiiv. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
- Cloudflare as our content delivery network and security layer, which receives every request to the Site to serve cached content and block malicious traffic.
- Shopify for our merch store at shop.thekitchenpickle.com. The Shopify store has its own privacy policy that governs purchases there.
- Affiliate networks and brand partners such as JOOLA, Selkirk, Friday Pickleball, RPM Pickleball, JustPaddles, Amazon Associates, and others. When you click an affiliate link, those networks may set their own cookies to attribute the referral. See “Affiliate Links” below.
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
Affiliate links
Many product recommendations on the Site contain affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, The Kitchen may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we believe our audience will benefit from. Editorial decisions about which products we cover and how we rate them are made independently of commercial relationships, though we maintain affiliate relationships with the retailers and brands those links point to.
Where required, individual articles include a disclosure noting they contain affiliate links.
Sponsored content
Articles or posts paid for or materially supported by a brand are clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership.” Sponsored content is editorially distinct from our independent reviews and rankings.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on linked above, or by enabling Do Not Track or similar settings in your browser.
- Disable cookies in your browser settings.
If you are a resident of California, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants specific privacy rights, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information. To exercise any such rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will give you additional notice (for example, via the newsletter or a notice on the Site). Continued use of the Site after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
