Dreamland, the beloved pickleball facility nestled in Dripping Springs, Texas, is set to close its doors for good at the end of 2024.
The iconic venue, home to countless pickleball battles and community celebrations, is bowing out.
The decision, as shared by the Dreamland team, is part of a shift in the owners' vision for the space.
Dreamland wasn’t just any pickleball venue. It was the site of the first and second Major League Pickleball (MLP) events. The first tournament, in November of 2021, featured 32 of the sport's biggest stars and showcased Dreamland's potential as a stage for greatness.
It wasn’t just about pickleball. Dreamland’s sprawling 64-acre property became a gathering place for families, music lovers and athletes alike, blending art, sports and community into an unforgettable experience.
One last celebration
On Dec. 31 the facility will host the “End of an Era at Dreamland Bash.”
This closing event is your chance to honor the memories made and bid farewell to a place that has given so much to the pickleball world and beyond. Details will be shared soon, but this promises to be one epic send-off.

A message from Dreamland
The Dreamland team expressed their gratitude in their announcement, thanking their community for the support and memories over the years.
They also urged visitors to show kindness to staff during this transitional period. The team emphasized that employees had no role in the decision to close and deserve respect for their dedication to making Dreamland such a special place.
Starting now, Dreamland is offering a 50% off sale on all pro shop items and drinks. It’s a small silver lining for those who want a tangible piece of Dreamland to take home or just want to savor a final toast.
