Major League Pickleball announces multi-year DoorDash sponsorship

Major League Pickleball and DoorDash on Thursday announced a multi-year official league title sponsorship that rebrands the league as MLP presented by DoorDash.

MLP team owners Dude Perfect were joined by pro pickleball stars Anna Bright of the St. Louis Shock and Tyson McGuffin of the Phoenix Flames in a video announcing the deal.

“We are delighted to welcome DoorDash as Major League Pickleball’s official naming rights partner,” said UPA Chief Revenue Officer George Killebrew. “DoorDash has established themselves as a preeminent brand in the sports marketing industry and we look forward to working with them to convert the tens of millions pickleball players and MLP fans into avid DoorDash customers. Pickleball and DoorDash will become synonymous through this collaborative partnership.”

In addition to becoming the league’s official title partner -- which features the rebranding of the league and the DoorDash logo appearing on all official MLP team uniforms and behind both baselines at all league events -- DoorDash and MLP will collaborate on a collection of unique activations to launch this groundbreaking new partnership.

Several initiatives announced as part of the deal

-DashPass members can redeem an exclusive offer -- a free jar of pickles by using the promo code PICKLE -- on a DoorDash grocery order of at least $12, placed through April 15.

-DashPass members attending MLP events will be eligible to receive exclusive VIP seat upgrades and gift cards for on-site ordering.

-All MLP events will feature a branded “DoorDash Drop-Off Zone” where attending fans can pick up food ordered through DoorDash for an easy on-site food delivery experience.

-DoorDash will be the official title sponsor of the 2025 MLP Finals New York City, where MLP will crown the 2025 Premier and Challenger Level Champions in stunning Central Park. MLP hosted its first-ever NYC event in 2024, setting an all-time single-event league record in ticket revenue and welcoming nearly 5,500 fans throughout the four days of competition.

The league’s 2025 season schedule -- featuring 10 regular season events, the mid-season tournament, and two weeks of playoffs, all from April-August, plus November’s standalone MLP Cup -- will get started with the full slate of 16 Premier Level teams in action in Orlando on Apr. 24-27.
