The Wager, hosted by TV personality Jason Kennedy, is a new show pairing competition with celebrity hangouts on the pickleball court.
Currently airing in over 100 markets through NBC Sports, MSG Networks, and more, The Wager brings pickleball pros and celebrities into the spotlight—this time, with actual stakes on the line.
Kennedy is joined on the court by PPA pro Wes Burrows, and together, they’ll face off with stars from film, sports, and TV, including Taylor Lautner, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Shawn Johnson, and even Golden Tate.
The show dives into the sport’s growing star power and the unexpected ways these celebrities raise the stakes with every swing.
With stakes like social media takeovers or surprise donations to charity waiting for the losers, the show mixes competition with comedy, with half-time breaks that bring out candid moments and off-court stories that keep the vibe light.
This celebrity-studded series isn’t just content; it’s part of the next wave of pop-culture pickleball moments following The Dink—the upcoming movie by Andy Roddick and Ben Stiller—and HBO’s The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal joining the pickleball craze.
After its initial broadcast run on the networks listed above, the show will stream Roku, Tubi, Xumo, or Pluto, this December.
