The Major League Pickleball Mid-Season Tournament starts Wednesday at Belknap Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which has hosted the event alongside the annual Beer City Open for the past 3 years.

It’s the only event on the schedule this season that features all 20 MLP teams, as well as four additional teams in the bracket: Collegiate All-Stars, Team Europe, Team Australia and Team Canada.

The format is double elimination with no come-around, meaning that once a team loses in the main draw, the best they can finish is third place. Standings points will be awarded to the Top 3 teams as follows:

First place: 10 points
Second place: 6 points
Third place: 4 points

Seeding was determined by the current regular-season points standings using each team’s average points per event.

Rosters for guest teams

This is the second year that MLP has assembled “guest” teams to compete in the Mid-Season Tournament, with the goal of highlighting the top collegiate players in the country as well as international talent. Below you fill find the rosters for those teams.

Collegiate All Stars: Kallan Arledge (Ohio State), Ryan Morneau (James Madison), Lauren Mercado (Utah Tech), Mary Monson (Utah Tech).

Team Europe: Raquel Amaro (Spain), Pep Canyadell (Spain), Ben Cawston (UK), JM Medina (Spain), Kate Morris (UK), Karolina Owczarek (Germany).

Team Australia: Zach Grabovic, Mitch Hargreaves, Sarah Burr, Talia Saunders.

Team Canada: Mackonner Dy, Kyle Hermetz, Ryan Torresin, Rosie Johanson, Kim Layton, Jordann Vigna.
