Each year the number of brands in the pickleball paddle space increases, and 2025 was no different. RPM, Luzz, NOX, Warping Point ... the list of newcomers goes on, and many of those new brands made great paddles this year.
But the big dogs remained the big dogs at the pro level, with brands like JOOLA, Paddletek and Franklin dominating on the PPA Tour in terms of medals won.
We looked through the results from the 17 PPA Tour events in the U.S. in 2025 (we excluded the wooden paddle tournament for this exercise), and counted how many medals were won by each brand. There were 408 medals total across all divisions (24 each tournament). Here's how the numbers shook out:

It's important to note that some of this comes down to the sheer number of players each brand sponsors. JOOLA, for instance, sponsors 7 of the top 20 players in the men's doubles rankings (including World No. 1 Ben Johns) and 6 of the top 20 players in the women's doubles rankings (including World No. 2 Anna Bright). Several other brands only have one or two sponsored players, so they're at a disadvantage when it comes to this list.
Other brands punched above their weight, like Paddletek, who has only two sponsored players (Anna Leigh Waters and Christian Alshon), but both are regularly competing for medals in all three divisions (gender doubles, mixed doubles and singles). Paddletek and JOOLA also had several unsponsored players use their paddles and have success in 2025.
Below we take a look at the top 6 brands on the list, including who won for those brands and what specific paddles they used.
Note: We have taken into account the paddles used at the Cincinnati Showcase, which in many cases was different than players' normal paddles because some brands had not gotten updated UPA-A approval prior to that event. We also have taken into account when players switched paddle brands. For example, Dylan Frazier played the first tournament of the year with a Selkirk, then didn't have a paddle sponsor for several events in the spring and was using a JOOLA, then switched to Volair when he signed a deal with that brand in the middle of the year.
