The Kitchen has officially partnered with DUPR and the United Pickleball Association to provide promotion and exclusive coverage of the Collegiate Pickleball Tour.

The tour -- a nationwide series that was launched in the spring -- already has showcased college talent in a way we've never seen before and will award more than $100,000 in prize money this year alone.

Following the tour's spring series, which was capped off with a win in the National Championship by Texas (over TCU), several collegiate players participated in the Major League Pickleball Mid-Season Tournament this summer -- a first-of-its kind crossover that allowed the best college players in the country to compete against the pros.

The Collegiate Pickleball Tour's fall series of events is already underway with several campus regionals and three super regionals across the country leading up to the 2025 Collegiate World Championship, which will be held in Farmer's Branch, Texas, from Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

More than 4,000 players from 200+ schools are expected to participate in the Collegiate Pickleball Tour this fall, all battling for a spot in the 64-team bracket at the World Championship. There’s also a 32-team secondary bracket for schools that didn’t qualify or want to send a second squad.

Prize money and scholarships will help fund the collegiate programs and keep the sport growing on college campuses across the country.

Prize breakdown (first team bracket):

1st Place – $15,000
2nd Place – $5,000
3rd & 4th Place – $2,500
5th-8th Place – $1,250

Prize breakdown (second team bracket):

1st Place – $3,000
2nd Place – $1,000
3rd & 4th Place – $500

Additional Scholarships:

- $1,000 for the school with the most players in the tournament.
- $1,000 for the best-performing challenger teams (minimum 3 teams).
- $500 for the winner of each Challenger Bracket division.

The Collegiate Pickleball Tour is also partnering with the PPA Tour to host Collegiate Showcase matches. These events will feature top college teams battling under the lights at select PPA Tour stops, giving them a national audience and the chance to play on the same courts as the pros.
