Jeremy Lin and Michael Chang Will Compete with MLP Athletes in Celebrity Pickleball Showdown

The pickleball world is about to get a whole lot more star-studded. On September 3rd, two legends are set to collide in "DINKsanity."
NBA champion Jeremy Lin and tennis Hall of Famer Michael Chang will face off in a celebrity pickleball match at The HUB Alameda, the home of MLP Challengers team Bay Area Breakers.
But this isn’t just a battle for bragging rights. Proceeds from the event will go to two incredible causes—the Jeremy Lin Foundation, which empowers underserved communities, and Pickleball Cares, a charity using the sport to make a difference.
Jeremy Lin, teaming up with fellow Breaker Collin Shick, will challenge Michael Chang and Augie Ge.

Lin and Jill Braverman will also take on Chang and Alix Truong in what promises to be an electrifying follow-up.
To top it all off, the Bay Area Breakers will clash with the SoCal Hard Eights in a Major League Pickleball exhibition match.

Jeremy Lin
- Profession: Former NBA Player, current co-owner of the Bay Area Breakers in Major League Pickleball.
- Claim to Fame: Best known for "Linsanity" during his time with the New York Knicks in 2012, where he unexpectedly became a global phenomenon.
- Achievements: NBA Champion with the Toronto Raptors in 2019, first American of Taiwanese descent to play in the NBA.
- Current Endeavors: Beyond basketball, Lin is involved in philanthropy through the Jeremy Lin Foundation, which supports underprivileged communities.
Michael Chang
- Profession: Former Professional Tennis Player, inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
- Claim to Fame: Youngest male player to win a Grand Slam singles title, taking the 1989 French Open at just 17 years old.
- Achievements: Won 34 singles titles during his career, reaching a career-high ranking of World No. 2.
- Current Endeavors: Coaches rising tennis stars, including Kei Nishikori, and is active in various charitable causes.
