Below are the top vote-getters, along with some information about the most recent releases from those brands.
1. Six Zero (16%)
In the fall of 2025, Six Zero hit a home run with the release of the Coral and Black Opal paddles. Both paddles feature a 100% foam core, but they play very differently and are geared toward different types of players.
The Black Opal has a much higher ceiling in terms of power, pop and spin, while the Coral has a bigger sweet spot and offers a more consistent and controlled response.

2. JOOLA (13%)
JOOLA has been among the most popular brands for several years now, so it’s no surprise to see them high in the poll. Last month they released their new Pro V series, which has received mostly positive reviews.
All of the Pro V models feature a new “KineticFrame” that is built to flex and recover during impact. Unlike prior paddles with a “diving board” neck flex, the KineticFrame allows the paddle head to move parallel to its original position. This results in a more predictable & repeatable exit trajectory as well as more precise power (the more you put in, the more you get out).

3. Selkirk (10%)
If you go to any pickleball facility in the country right now, we bet you’ll see your fair share of Boomstiks. Selkirk has had a loyal base of players for almost a decade, and the Boomstik is the latest hit paddle that the masses have gravitated toward. And for good reason — it’s among the most powerful paddles on the market right now.

4. RPM (5%)
The paddle company that pro player James Ignatowich started in 2025 has been on a roll. The brand’s original Friction Pro paddle put RPM on the map, and they’ve followed it up this year with the RPM Friction Pro V2 and the RPM Q2, which was co-designed by popular paddle reviewer John Kew.
You could make a reasonable argument for all three paddles to be among the best paddles on the market.

5. Facolos (5%)
This one surprised us a little bit, and shows that there’s a fairly large and active group of Asia-based players in The Kitchen’s Facebook community. Facolos has been one of the most popular brands in Asia since late-2025, and is starting to get some traction in the U.S., although most U.S. consumers can’t yet buy Facolos’ paddles online.
6. Honolulu (4%)
If you’re really into pickleball paddles and paddle technology, you’ve probably known about Honolulu for a while. But the brand is becoming more mainstream and recently released arguably their best model yet — the J6CR.
The J6CR is widely regarded as one of the best full-foam paddles on the market, and is also rated highly on our list of the best paddles available.

7. Bread & Butter (4%)
Bread & Butter is another company that has had a strong following among paddle enthusiasts for several years. In 2025 the Loco was one of the most popular paddles and is widely regarded as a great paddle at a great price point ($199).

8. 11SIX24 (3%)
11SIX24 broke into the paddle market by making high-performing paddles at much lower prices than the competition. This year the brand introduced new grit technology they’re calling “HexGrit.” The company’s new Power 2 models are very gritty to the touch, and the brand claims the HexGrit is more durable than raw carbon fiber and other grit technologies on the market.

9. CRBN (3%)
CRBN is another brand that has had a loyal following for several years. They were the first company to introduce a 100% foam core with the release of the TruFoam Genesis in 2025. They followed that up with the TruFoam Waves and the TruFoam Barrage, which was released last month.

10. Luzz (3%)
Luzz has been gaining steady momentum since the 2025 release of the Pro 4 Inferno (full foam/Gen 4) and Cannon (Gen 3). The Cannon is one of the best value paddles on the market at $100, while Inferno has been a popular choice among high-level amateurs and pro players.

11. Franklin (3%)
Franklin has been a big player in the paddle market since the late 2010s. They were one of the first brands to invest heavily in the pro game, and the company’s C45 line of paddles were a popular choice for players at all levels in 2025. They also made big news earlier this year by signing No. 1 women’s player Anna Leigh Waters to a long-term paddle contract, making it clear that Franklin intends to be one of the top companies for years to come.

12. Engage (2%)
Engage was founded by then-pro player Robert Elliot in the mid-2010s, and was one of the original companies to experiment with surface texture on its paddles. Recently the company’s Alpha Pro paddle has been a popular choice at the amateur level. Engage also recently released the new X2, a full-foam paddle that delivers more power and spin than any other Engage model they’ve released.
