Major League Pickleball on Tuesday announced a Premier Level trade between the Chicago Slice and Atlanta Bouncers. Per the terms of the deal:

-Atlanta will receive Vivienne David.

-Chicago will receive Vivian Glozman.

Updated rosters:

Chicago Slice

Likely starters: Vivian Glozman, Callie Smith, James Ignatowich, Max Freeman

Bench players: Pierina Imparato, Carlos Di Laura

Atlanta Bouncers

Likely starters: Vivienne David, Victoria Di Muzio, Todd Fought, Jaume Martinez Vich

Bench players: Sam Querrey, Rachel Rettger

Both teams are in the bottom half of the league standings, so it’s not terribly surprising that they would each be looking to switch things up.

Atlanta is coming off of a weekend at MLP Phoenix where they went 1-5 and earned just four points. The Bouncers are now 4-11 and are No. 12 in the standings when sorted by points per match, with 0.80 PPM.

Chicago has played half as many matches, but has also been struggling, starting out 2-6 with 1.00 PPM — one spot ahead of Atlanta in the standings.

The Slice will be in action this weekend at MLP Daytona Beach, which starts Thursday. Atlanta is off until the Mid-Season Tournament July 9-13.
