Gas stations seem to have cult followings in their regions: in the east, it’s Sheetz and Wawa, but in Texas, it’s all about Buc-ee’s. “It’s not just a gas station, it’s an experience.”

Now, the roadside empire with its chipper mascot has officially entered the picklesphere.

But they didn’t stop there. Buc-ee’s is also stocking individual Diadem paddles and a three-pack of pickleballs.

With their massive footprints off major highways, Buc-ee’s should absolutely build pickleball courts next to their sprawling parking lots. Then, they could compete with some of Sonic’s Drive Through locations:

Even the Texas Ranchers, the state’s MLP team, would be on board. They took Tina Pisnik to Buc-ee’s for the first time (she was hunting for a vegan snack), but next time, let’s see her and teammates take on the beaver mascot in a pitstop match.
