The Major League Pickleball Finals set an all-time MLP viewership record this weekend, with 773,000 average viewers watching the CBS broadcast on Sunday, according to the league.

It was the second-most watched pro pickleball event in history on any network, behind the PPA Tour Masters Sunday broadcast on CBS earlier this year.

MLP said in a news release that the average viewership for this year’s MLP Finals represents a 55% increase vs. last year’s coverage, which was also on CBS.

Fans were treated to an exciting match, as the New Jersey 5s completed a 2-0 sweep of the St. Louis Shock in front of a packed crowd at Central Park in New York City.

The event also broke the previous MLP single-event record for in-person attendance, with more than 10,000 total fans across three days, according to the news release.
