JOOLA is releasing a new paddle later this month. Here’s what we know about it.
JOOLA Pickleball has announced that they have a new paddle launching later this month.
It’s called the POWER FX, and it is set to be released Sept. 30.
The brand hasn’t released many details about the design and construction of the new paddle, but we do know this: It will be JOOLA’s first full-foam option, “built to give players effortless power on every shot.”
“POWER FX represents something new for JOOLA — something our community has been asking for,” said Gordon Kaye, JOOLA’s Chief Experience Officer. “We’re excited to share more and get this in the hands of players very soon.”

When JOOLA released the Pro V Series earlier this year, they received some pushback from reviewers and consumers who wondered why the brand hadn’t followed the foam trend that has been popular in the paddle industry since mid-2025.
Their response was simple: JOOLA doesn’t follow, they innovate. The brand’s engineers said at the time they didn’t feel like foam represented a clear upgrade in performance from JOOLA’s patented propulsion core, which has been used in JOOLA’s paddles since 2024.
In the months since, we’ve seen several companies experiment with different types of foam to achieve different performance characteristics. The foam paddles of 2026 are much different (and better, in my opinion) than what we saw in 2025.
So while we don’t know the specifics yet, I think it’s a safe bet that the POWER FX will live up to JOOLA’s standards as one of the most innovative brands in the paddle industry.
