Mark Wahlberg won’t be the only famous face on center court Thursday night at Brookhaven Country Club outside of Dallas.

On Monday, the PPA Tour announced the full celebrity roster for the MUNICIPAL Celebrity Pickleball Showdown presented by Corient. The event is part of this year’s Pickleball World Championships. Wahlberg headlines a group of celebrities that includes:

  • Actor Jeremy Piven.
  • Retired tennis star John Isner.
  • Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean “Suga” O’Malley.
  • WNBA player Isabelle Harrison.
  • Gas Monkey Garage founder Richard Rawlings.

The exhibition starts at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Nov. 5, on Championship Court. Tennis Channel will carry it live right after the tournament’s Round of 16 coverage.

The celebrities will share the court with PPA Tour pros, including Ben Johns, Anna Bright, Roscoe Bellamy, Kate Fahey, Tyson McGuffin, Brooke Buckner, Jack Sock and Lacy Schneemann.

The title sponsor for the Celebrity Pickleball Showdown is Wahlberg’s own company. He co-founded MUNICIPAL, an athleisure brand, in 2019 with his longtime producing partner Stephen Levinson. In August the brand signed a multi-year deal to become the official apparel partner of Major League Pickleball’s Dallas Flash, beginning with the 2027 season.

“The pickleball community embodies the principles our brand was built on: Dream, plan, hustle, repeat,” Wahlberg said in the PPA Tour’s announcement.

Wahlberg and some of the players will wear MUNICIPAL x JOOLA apparel made just for the exhibition.

Last year the Showdown went with local legends, as Dirk Nowitzki and Terrell Owens topped the bill. This year’s lineup leans more Hollywood, with one Dallas tie: Rawlings, who built Gas Monkey Garage into a Dallas-based automotive brand.
