The tournaments that have been announced will be held in China, Japan and Malaysia, with more events expected to be added to the calendar soon.
Malaysia will host the opening event in July, while the most prestigious tournament on the schedule will be the China Slam in early October, which is expected to draw several top American pros, Australian pros and Asia's best players.

PPA Tour Asia will follow a tiered tournament structure similar to what the U.S. PPA Tour uses.
Slam: 2,000 points with an estimated $1 million US in prize money and payouts, featuring elite international talent, including top American pros, Australian pros and Asia's best players.
Cup: 1,500 points and an estimated $500,000 US each in prize money and payouts, featuring established regional professionals and rising stars.
Open: 1,000 points and a minimum of $50,000 US in prize money, focusing on regional talent and growing the sport throughout Asia.
Monday's announcement is the latest international push by the United Pickleball Association. In late January, the PPA Tour hosted the Australia Pickleball Open in Melbourne, which featured several top PPA Tour pros as well as the best Australian pickleball players.
