The PPA Tour is back in action this week in Lakeland, Florida, for the Lakeland Open.

The tournament, being held at the Beerman Family Tennis Center, started Tuesday with pro qualifying and will continue through Sunday.

As an Open, the tournament offers 1,000 ranking points to the winners and will be played as a modified traditional draw. That means singles (Wednesday), mixed doubles (Thursday) and gender doubles (Friday) will be played through the quarterfinal rounds on their designated days, then the semifinal matches for all divisions will be Saturday, followed by Championship Sunday.

With Florida being home for many of the top players on the PPA Tour, the draws are filled with the usual suspects, minus Hayden Patriquin on the men’s side — he’s skipping this event.

All of this week’s matches can be viewed on Pickleballtv or the Pickleballtv App.
