Adidas Pickleball is making moves. Soon after landing world No. 1 Federico Staksrud, the brand has added another rising star—Mari Humberg.
Humberg’s aggressive playing style and relentless work ethic have made her one of the fastest-rising names in pickleball, and now, she’ll be at the forefront of Adidas’ rapid expansion in the game.
Humberg says she’s coming full circle with this move. "I couldn’t be more excited to join Adidas—a brand that has been part of my journey from my university days to now,” Humberg said.
With Humberg on board, Adidas Pickleball, operated by All Racquet Sports, is doubling down on its investment. The company entered 2025 with a clear strategy: sign elite talent and develop game-changing gear.
Staksrud’s partnership already includes a signature paddle dropping in April, and Humberg’s signing suggests more product innovation could be on the way.
The signing announcement gives paddle nerds another glimpse at the incoming paddle releases from Adidas:
This move also highlights the growing prominence of women in pickleball. Humberg’s signing reinforces that top brands see the women’s game as a critical part of the sport’s growth, something long overdue in a sport that’s been booming across all demographics.
"Mari’s groundbreaking talent, perseverance, and dynamic personality embody everything we stand for at adidas," said Bryan Ogle from Adidas Pickleball.
