Proton Project Peacock
Our take on the Project Peacock Elongated
Proton developed a unique foam core in the Peacock, giving it a softer and more responsive feel without sacrificing top-end power. It also features the same gritty carbon fiber surface that made the Project Flamingo a popular choice for many players in 2025, so it’s easy to add a lot of shape on all kinds of shots.
The Peacock comes in four models: 15mm elongated, 13mm elongated, 15mm widebody, 13mm widebody. The 13mm widebody is our favorite option for doubles, while the 15mm elongated is our favorite option for singles.

Questions people ask about the Project Peacock Elongated
Is the Proton Project Peacock worth $180?
Yes. Its 100% foam core gives it a softer, more responsive feel without giving up top-end power, which ranks in the top 25% of paddles.
Which Proton Project Peacock should I choose?
The 15mm elongated for singles or the 13mm widebody for doubles. Those are our favorites of the four models.
Is the Proton Project Peacock a power paddle or a control paddle?
It's an all-court paddle. High dwell time keeps dinks comfortable and controlled, and it feels very fast in the hand for an elongated paddle.
Does the Proton Project Peacock have good spin?
Yes. It has the same gritty carbon fiber face as the Project Flamingo, which makes heavy topspin easy on serves, drives, drops and roll attacks.
Proton Project Peacock vs Project Flamingo: which is better?
Neither is better outright. The Peacock feels plusher, with slightly less pop in hands battles but more control on counters than the more rigid Flamingo.
